Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead and execute strategic planning initiatives
- Define and design management reviews to understand challenges and set appropriate counter measures with relevant stake holders.
- Develop and standardize processes to manage corporate performance.
- Manage and mentor a team of strategic planners
- Inspire creative strategy and insights
- Responsible for qualitative and quantitative modes of research
- Responsible for tools and platforms to stay ahead of key consumer trends
- Manages several projects at once across planning team workflow
- Support EMT, Ops Review, Monthly Review with RCL
- Find factors of issues through fact base analysis and qualitative data.
- Communicates complex creative themes clearly and concisely
- Manage progress of initiatives, create KPIs, timeline, ROI and quality with project managers
- Escalate to EMT as appropriate
- 8 years in strategic planning experience is a must
- Working knowledge of comms planning as a discipline is a plus
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
- Experience of strategy development
- Experience of corporate management as a corporate staff
- Ability to both lead and execute strategic planning initiatives
- Experience managing and mentoring a team of strategic planners
- Proven experience in inspiring creative strategy and insights
- Working knowledge of a qualitative and quantitative modes of research
- Working knowledge of tools and platforms including social listening tools to stay ahead of key consumer trends
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage several projects at once across planning team workflow
