POSITION SUMMARY
This Director, Operation position oversees every aspect of Freight Forwarding operation of Ricoh Logistics Corporation. This position requires extensive background and experiences in both import and export, air and ocean, and responsible for overseeing day to day operation, creating SOP, provide training, configuration of operating system to suit process, monitor processes and workflow, managing the level of operation and service level to the company’s expectation, manage BPO operation, and hiring/disciplinary action.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Monitor communication to and from our clients, and ensure that it is up to company’s expectations.
- Monitor workflow and ensure that our operations are up to date and timely completing our operational process up to company’s expectations.
- Provide support and necessary training to KAM and BPO
- Provide expert support to BD
- Creative plan and initiative to bring our operation suitable to our existing and prospective clients
- Achieve company goal in terms of operating expenses
- Procure service providers, negotiate costing.
QUALIFICATIONS/CONDITIONS
EDUCATIONAL |
Bachelor’s degree (Business, Logistics and Supply Chain, or associate field), or equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of educational requirement Completion of any industry related course is an asset |
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Extensive freight forwarding background, with proven track of managing all modes of transportation, minimum 5 years |
