Lead Support Representative, Warehouse
POSITION PROFILE
Responsible for leading and directing a team of warehouse associates and forklift drivers in completing their tasks and duties. Ensures all processes and procedures are followed. Ensures all work is completed based on requirements. Able to assist in training warehouse associates and forklift drivers. Direct back-up to Warehouse Supervisor.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Leading and directing warehouse associates and forklift drivers.
- Supporting the warehouse supervisor/manager in planning and ensuring timelines and activities are met.
- Developing and supporting productivity and quality standards.
- Training warehouse personnel.
- Ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Leading daily activities and recommending corrective actions.
- Handling administrative tasks and paperwork.
- Operating material handling and dock equipment.
- Troubleshooting system and process issues.
- Providing assistance to other functional areas as needed.
- Meeting productivity and quality standards.
- Performing physical work as required.
- Managing financial responsibility for daily transactional and inventory volumes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred knowledge and experience in Warehouse Management Systems, computer hardware, ERP platforms, and MS Office.
- Current Forklift Certification.
- Adequate reading, math, and legible writing skills.
- Ability to drive 5S and daily production goals.
- Minimum 4 years warehouse experience or 3 years within the organization.

- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to listen, give direction, and develop a team.
- Working Conditions
- Typical warehouse environment with physical demands like lifting up to 100 pounds and moving objects up to 700 pounds.
- Frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling.
- Possible overtime or outside normal working hours when needed.

- Ability to interpret, comprehend, and apply complex material, data, and instructions.
- Physical effort required for lifting and moving heavy equipment.
