SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Team Lead – Assembly oversees the work of a group of employees within a department/area while performing many of the same work duties as that group.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned)
· Monitors the incoming and outgoing flow of production within a department to ensure adequate levels of product flow.
· Manages order flow and order prioritization.
· Build shift to shift communication (if applicable).
· Communicates and expedite orders with customer service and scheduling to the floor.
· Report issues that have a negative impact on efficiencies.
· Engage with the Supervisor when targets are not being met.
· Assist with production as needed.
· Receives departmental work assignments from Supervisor.
· Assists in establishing and assigning work priorities within the department/area.
· Trains department work group in required safe and correct work procedures, performance expectations, following work instructions, and operating procedures.
· Inspects, coordinates, and records work performed by the department/area.
· Assists in resolving on-the-job technical questions/issues.
· Orders necessary supplies, tools, etc. for the department/area.
· Refers all job discipline and non-routine issues to the Supervisor.
· Observes all safety rules and regulations.
· Exercises care and good judgment always to prevent accidents and injuries.
· Adheres to all company policies, procedures, rules, and BRG Code of Conduct.
· Helps promote and lead 5s, safety, and housekeeping initiatives.
· Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Authorized to work in the U.S.
· Four to six(4-6) years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
· Proficient using MS Office applications.
SKILLS
· Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
· Ability to effectively relate with others and cooperate as a team member.
· Ability to perform essential functions and responsibilities of the job with some supervision.
· Must be flexible.
· Careful attention to detail.
· Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group situations within the organization.
· Ability to rely on judgment for personal safety regarding work.
· Ability to write simple correspondence.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds at a time.
· Sufficient hand, eye, arm, and finger dexterity.
· Must wear safety glasses and hearing protection in designated areas.
· Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking while also performing repetitive tasks.
· Prolonged periods of bending and/or twisting throughout a work shift.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
