We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Fraud Prevention Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing comprehensive fraud prevention strategies for both in-store and ecommerce sales. This role requires a unique blend of analytical thinking, investigative skills, and a deep understanding of fraud prevention best practices. You will play a crucial role in protecting our company and customers from fraudulent activities while ensuring a smooth purchasing experience for legitimate customers.
Please note this position is based on-site at our office in Brea, California.
\n- Review potentially fraudulent orders in the system queue
- Make accept or deny decisions on flagged transactions
- Order verification including verifying customer information
- Serve as an escalation point for complex fraud cases
- System administration including reviewing and optimizing fraud detection system rules
- Analyze patterns and trends to enhance fraud prevention
- Evaluate and implement improvements to fraud detection processes
- Handle inbound and outbound customer calls related to fraud prevention
- Address customer inquiries through various communication channels
- Monitor fraud trends in ecommerce and the ebike industry
- Assess potential risks and recommend preventative measures
- Provide regular reports on fraud incidents and prevention metrics
- Analyze data to provide actionable insights for fraud prevention strategies
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Data Analytics, or related field strongly preferred.
- 3 years of experience in fraud prevention or related risk management roles
- Experience in ecommerce fraud prevention preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for customer interaction and internal reporting
- Proficiency in fraud prevention tools and platforms
- Ability to identify patterns and trends in large datasets
- Strong decision making skills with the ability to work independently
- Experience with customer service platforms and ticketing systems
Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
