Ride Connection is looking for an organized and motivated HR Coordinator to join our team!

At Ride Connection, we believe that a positive, supportive workplace starts with great HR, and we're looking for an HR Coordinator who can help make that happen. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in supporting our employees by guiding their inquiries to the right HR team members and ensuring they receive timely, accurate assistance. You'll help foster a welcoming environment by maintaining strong employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and contributing to the smooth operation of HR processes. In addition to being a trusted resource for employees, you'll assist with HR initiatives and projects, always using discretion and care when handling sensitive information. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a salary range of $21.84 - $31.72 per hour. Starting pay will be based on direct comparable experience.

  • You are known for your eye for detail. Double-checking and triple-checking are a part of how you operate.
  • You know that we can all achieve more when we work together. Because of this, you are not afraid to ask for help, support, or even another set of eyes to look over something you've been working on to catch things you may have missed.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees, addressing questions and triaging issues to the appropriate HR team member for resolution.
  • Regularly update and maintain the Employee SharePoint Hub page, ensuring employees have access to up-to-date information and resources.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to upload new content, enhance page usability, and incorporate employee feedback to improve functionality.
  • Assist with personnel management tasks, including maintaining accurate employee records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements, and supporting the digital migration of personnel files.
  • Assist with preparing, filing, and managing various HR documents (e.g., contracts, benefits forms, performance reviews).
  • Respond to employment verifications for current and former employees.
  • Support HR audits and preparation of reports
  • Provide administrative support to HR team members on routine tasks and larger projects.
  • Assist in developing, maintaining, and ensuring adherence to HR operating procedures.
  • Help maintain compliance with labor laws, company policies, and regulations.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with Ride Connection staff, partners, customers, and supporters.
  • Qualifications

  • AA degree in a related field or a high school equivalent and a minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in an office environment or the equivalent combination of education and / or relevant experience
  • Demonstrable proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint
  • Experience working with HRIS systems, ADP Workforce Now a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks within specific timelines
  • Strong professional communication, including effectively and pleasantly taking, relaying, and responding to messages
  • Experience working under and knowledge of confidentiality rules
  • Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, courtesy and tact, and in handling problems as they arise
  • Ability to pass a 10-year National Criminal Record Check which includes fingerprint identification
  • Welcomed Additional Qualifications

  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification
  • Compliance knowledge and experience
  • Experience working for a Non-Profit organization
  • Experience working with older adults and people with disabilities
