Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Automotive Sales and Finance Associate to join our team. This dual-role position involves assisting customers in selecting and purchasing vehicles while also facilitating financing solutions through our established lender network. The ideal candidate will have a background in automotive sales, a strong understanding of financing processes, and excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage customers to understand their vehicle preferences and needs.
- Present and demonstrate vehicle features, capabilities, and benefits.
- Negotiate pricing and terms to close sales effectively.
- Assess customers' financial situations and present suitable financing options.
- Collaborate with various lenders to secure competitive financing rates.
- Explain financing terms, warranties, and additional products to customers.
- Ensure all financial transactions comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Complete and process all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Remain seated or standing for extended periods during customer interactions and administrative tasks.
- Stay informed about industry trends, dealership promotions, and inventory updates.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding customer service.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in automotive sales; experience in automotive finance is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of vehicle features, financing options, and sales techniques.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate customer schedules.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software relevant to sales and finance operations.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during work hours.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
