Job Overview:
As a Sales and Technical Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction through technical support and sales assistance. This hands-on, in-office role requires a solid technical background in motorcycles, the ability to install parts, and a customer-focused attitude. You will also assist with walk-in customers, manage standard customer service inquiries, and provide technical support to clients via phone and email. Additionally, there may be occasional travel to industry events and dealer visits across the region and country.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer technical support for motorcycle parts and installations, addressing customer questions and troubleshooting issues.
- Installing motorcycle parts in-house.
- Assist walk-in customers with product selection, installation guidance, and service inquiries.
- Manage customer and dealership service calls, providing solutions to product-related inquiries.
- Travel to industry events and dealer visits as needed to represent the company and strengthen business relationships.
- Assist the sales team with product promotions, sales orders, and customer follow-up.
Qualifications:
- Technical background in motorcycles, motorcycle mechanics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of motorcycle parts and installation procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information in an accessible manner.
- Customer service experience with a positive and professional attitude.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel for industry events and dealer visits.
- Previous experience in sales or a customer-facing role is a plus.
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with motorcycle brands and aftermarket parts.
- Experience with parts installation and technical troubleshooting.
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers and industry professionals.
