Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic sales team. As an SDR, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by identifying and qualifying potential clients. Your primary focus will be on initiating and nurturing relationships with prospects, leveraging various sales techniques including cold calling, email outreach, and prospecting. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, resourceful, and possess excellent communication skills to engage in strategic conversations with C-suite executives. You will report to the Vice President of Sales.
Responsibilities
- Utilize Dynamics CRM to manage and organize prospecting activities, track leads, and document customer interactions
- Conduct outbound prospecting efforts through cold calling, email campaigns, and social media to identify potential customers and generate new sales opportunities
- Qualify leads and gather relevant information about prospects to assess their needs, challenges, and suitability for CRA's services
- Engage in strategic conversations with C-suite executives, understanding their business objectives and pain points, while positioning CRA as the preferred IT solutions provider
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to transition qualified leads and provide detailed information for effective sales follow-up
- Continuously develop product knowledge and stay updated on industry trends to effectively communicate CRA's value proposition to prospects
- Schedule initial calls for the sales reps and follow up as requested by them
- Meet and exceed assigned quotas for lead generation and qualification
Desired Skillset/Experience
- Proven experience as a Sales Development Representative or in a similar sales role within the IT industry
- Familiarity with Dynamics CRM or similar CRM platforms, with the ability to effectively utilize it for lead management and tracking
- Strong prospecting and cold calling skills, with a track record of successfully generating new business opportunities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage prospects and conduct strategic conversations with C-suite executives
- Self-starter with a resourceful and proactive mindset, capable of working independently and managing time effectively
- Ability to understand complex business environments and articulate the value of CRA's IT services to various stakeholders
- Goal-oriented mindset with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.
