Role Description
This is a full-time Director of Advancement Services position at Rider University.
Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Advancement, this individual will play a key role in enhancing fundraising effectiveness through expert management of the department, which plays a pivotal role in supporting campaigns, development initiatives, and alumni relations activities. The currency and accuracy of system data, reporting, and training of end users are all crucial to ensuring regulatory compliance for the University as a 501c3 organization and the ultimate success of meeting fundraising goals, which are critical to the ongoing operations of the institution. The Director oversees functions including scholarship stewardship, gift processing, donor acknowledgment and tax receipting, financial reporting and reconciliation, and database management.
