DESCRIPTION
Rider Athletics is seeking one (1) Multimedia & Broadcast Production Graduate Assistant beginning in Fall 2025 to assist with our ESPN and BroncVision broadcasts and filming/editing long- and short-form video segments for our GoBroncs.com website and various social media channels. In this role, you would be responsible for serving as a production assistant for all of our ESPN basketball and wrestling broadcasts; assisting with our fall and spring ESPN and BroncVision broadcasts; pitching, producing, filming, and editing feature stories on Rider athletes and staff; and assisting in generating additional video content for our in-house video board shows and social media channels. Through this experience, you will gain valuable insight into the different aspects of broadcast production, including but not limited to producing, directing, and engineering broadcasts. Additionally, you will gain valuable experience working in a fast-paced professional video production environment for a Division I Athletic department. The candidate hired for this position will work 20 hours per week and be compensated with the current graduate assistant salary rate ($15.52/hour).

QUALIFICATIONS
● Bachelor’s degree in Sports Media, Film and Television, Communications, or related
field
● Must be a Rider University graduate student beginning Fall 2025
● 15-20 hours of availability per week, including nights and weekends
● Must live within driving distance of the university and be able to commute for events
occurring over the Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring breaks
● Previous experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop
PREFERRED
● Availability to start in early- to mid-August ahead of the Fall 2025 semester
RESPONSIBILITIES
● Work in our production trailer or as a play-by-play announcer for all 60-80 Rider-
produced ESPN broadcasts
● Assist in generating short- and long-form video content for our website, social media
platforms, and in-house video board shows
DURATION/PAY
The ideal candidate will fulfill their graduate assistant duties for the duration of their time
attending Rider graduate school. Base pay is $15.52/hour.
