Position Overview:
AAA Fire Protection is actively seeking motivated Apprentices to join our skilled field teams. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals interested in learning the fire protection trade from experienced professionals. Apprentices will receive hands-on training and mentorship in fire sprinkler system installation, inspection, and maintenance while working towards obtaining certification and licensure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced technicians in the installation, repair, and inspection of fire sprinkler systems.
- Learn to read and interpret design plans, specifications, and technical documents.
- Support routine testing and inspections, adhering to NFPA standards.
- Maintain a safe and organized job site, following all OSHA safety guidelines.
- Operate basic tools and equipment safely and effectively under supervision.
- Participate actively in on-the-job training and educational opportunities to develop technical skills and knowledge.
- Communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, and clients.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in construction, plumbing, or mechanical trades preferred but not required.
- Strong desire to learn and grow in the fire protection industry.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, and working at heights.
- Dependable transportation and a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Commitment to safety, punctuality, teamwork, and reliability.
- Must be willing to pursue necessary certifications and training provided by the company.
