Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Sales Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between data management and sales execution, transforming complex data sets into actionable strategies that drive revenue growth. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our sales team has the necessary insights and tools to achieve their targets effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze sales and revenue data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for the sales team.
- Sales Strategy Support
- Translate complex data into clear, concise reports that can be easily understood and utilized by sales personnel.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to develop data-driven strategies that enhance sales performance.
- System Optimization
- Work with existing data systems to ensure accurate data collection, storage, and retrieval.
- Identify and implement improvements to data processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Training & Development
- Provide training and support to sales staff on how to interpret and use data in their sales strategies.
- Foster a data-centric culture within the sales team by promoting the importance of data-driven decision-making.
- Follow-Up & Accountability
- Ensure that data-driven recommendations are implemented and followed up on appropriately.
- Monitor the impact of implemented strategies and adjust as necessary to meet revenue goals.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in a data-driven role within a sales or revenue-focused environment.
- Technical Skills
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, CRM systems).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Soft Skills
- Strong understanding of sales processes and revenue generation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data insights clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Other Requirements
- Ability to work onsite in Golden, Colorado.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
