Job Summary
Ridg-U-Rak, Inc. is currently seeking an AutoCAD Drafter/Detailer to join our engineering team at our office located in North East, PA (Full-time, in-office position). Ridg-U-Rak is one of the largest pallet rack and storage rack manufacturers in North America.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Creation of production drawings utilizing AutoCAD software.
- Checking of production drawings for accuracy.
- Create item product structures and routers utilizing Infor ERP system.
- Creation of project layout and installation drawings
- Checking of item descriptions and quantities to match layout drawings.
- Must be dependable, punctual and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced work environment.
- Must be capable of working and communicating directly with all departments and customers in a professional manor.
- Other detailing and department duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Associate degree or higher in a CAD or Engineering related program is required
- Knowledge of basic drafting standards is a must
- Knowledge of weld symbols and nomenclature is a plus
- Experience with Autodesk Inventor is a plus
- Strong math and visualization skills
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
