What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at Ridg-U-Rak Inc.?
We are currently seeking a Machine Operator to join our team on 2nd Shift at our manufacturing facility in North East, PA .
- This position pays a competitive starting base pay, plus incentive (piecework).

- Monday -Thursday - 10-hour shift.
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to set up, adjust and operate production equipment. This includes press brake and shear machines.
- Be proficient in the operation of the machine while maintaining production requirements and quality.
- Accurately measure parts using a variety of equipment including squares, protractors, micrometers, and a tape measure.
- Restock materials.
- Perform routine maintenance on the machine.
- Maintain a safe and orderly work area.
- Heavy Lifting as required.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Must be able to read blueprints.
- Basic Shop Math
- Mechanical Aptitude required.
- Ability to use handheld measurement instruments.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience working with industrial machines.
Education:
- High School or Equivalent
- Degree or certificate from a vocational school (preferred)
Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday 3:30pm-2:00am
- Initial training will occur on 1st Shift.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
