What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Director position at Ridge at Madison?

The Administrator is responsible for mananging the day-to-day operation of the community. Responsibility includes promothing resident-directed living, achieving and maintaining census of the community to capacity, achieving high resident satisfaction and quality resident care/services, ensuring compliance with applicable State and Federal requirements, generating respect in the community for the community, guiding and mentoring team members to reach their highest potential, ensuring smooth operation of the communtiy, managing and maintaining budgets, and generating the projected profit for the company.
1. Walk through community (including parking area) at begining and end of shift to monitor general condition and tidiness of environment; ensure that public areas and building exterior are always clean and well maintained.
2. Develop community-specific fire safety, disaster, and evacuation procedures.
3. Develop and train staff to conduct fire drills per local regualtions and community policy.
4. Supervise housekeeping team, ensuring quality services.
5. Maintain positive communications with local fire marshal, building inspector, and any other jurisdictions governing the community.
6. Displays mature behavior and attitude in speech and action; demonstrates consistently pleasant demeanor, tone of voice, supports the mission statement and approach to care used by the community.
7. Perform all marketing activities including public relations efforts, prospective resident generation, rospective resident follow-up, direct sales, and sales monitoring, fully utilize lead tracking software, and social media updates including monitoring/responses.
8. Troubleshoot, evaluate and recommend equipment/service upgrades.
9. Perform all other duties as assigned by the community Administrator.
