We seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented Wireless Construction Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of wireless communication construction projects. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. This role requires an understanding of wireless technologies, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Projects will include working with various DAS systems, coax and antenna infrastructure, fiber optic networks, and larger in-building coverage jobs. The ideal candidate will coordinate with stakeholders, ensure project deliverables are met on time, within scope, and on budget, and maintain the highest safety and quality standards.
Duties:
- Project Planning and Management:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedules, budgets, and - resource allocation.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to minimize project uncertainties.
- Define project objectives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Project Bidding:
- Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting.
- Authorize purchase orders, track expenditures, and negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
- Project Coordination:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Facilitate regular meetings to proactively update stakeholders on project progress and address issues.
- Construction Oversight:
- Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual obligations. (Largely performed from the office, occasionally in the field)
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets design specifications and client expectations. (typically via photos)
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure adherence to building codes, legal regulations, and environmental standards.
- Promote a culture of safety by implementing and enforcing site safety protocols.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage and lead cross-functional project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and internal staff.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback to team members.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain detailed project records, including contracts, permits, schedules, and correspondence.
- Generate and present regular progress reports that are compliant with our customers' closeout package requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in wireless of communication projects.
- PMP, CCM, or equivalent certification preferred. OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
- Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, AutoCAD), MS Office Suite, and scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel to project locations throughout Maryland and the District of Columbia as needed.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
