Job description
Our wireless tech is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting wireless networks and systems. They are skilled in working with various DAS systems, coax and antenna infrastructure, and fiber optic networks, and they use hand tools and software tools as required. In addition, they may perform walk testing for in-building coverage. Their expertise ensures seamless 4G and 5G coverage wherever wireless customers are. This person will travel from our Westminster office to job sites throughout the DMV area.
We are seeking a skilled Wireless Technician to join our team. As a Wireless Technician, you will install, maintain, and repair various wireless systems. Duties
- Provide excellent customer service.

- Installation of access control panels and related peripherals
- Installation of DAS (distributed antenna system)
- Installation of all system infrastructure, including conduit, wiring, and enclosures.
- Installation and termination of low voltage cabling to include CAT5e, CAT6, COAX, and Fiber.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with telecommunications equipment and networks.
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement telecommunications solutions.
- Test and certify telecommunications systems to ensure they meet industry standards.
- Document all work performed, including equipment installations, repairs, and system configurations.
- Provide technical support to end-users regarding telecommunications systems.
Minimum Qualification
- OSHA 10 Certification
- Experience with power tools and hand tools.
- 2 or more years of cabling/electrical wiring required.
- Understanding of electric circuits and wiring in low voltage applications.
- Meticulous and able to work independently or in a team.
- Must be able to work at heights of a ladder and in confined spaces, lifting upwards to 50 pounds, and moving up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to travel to project locations throughout Maryland and the District of Columbia on an as-needed basis.

Required Skills/ Experience
- OSHA 10 Certification
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- More than 3 years of experience with cable/fiber installation.
- Telecom experience
- Former electrical apprentice
- Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Antennas and line work.
- Cell tower work experience a plus.
- DAS Installer
- Structured Cabling
- Certification in telecommunications or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience working with low-voltage systems and electrical components.
- Strong knowledge of computer networking principles.
- Familiarity with power tools and basic hand tools used in low-voltage installations.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues with wireless systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $27.88 per hour
