Leveraging cutting-edge technologies, including AI tools like GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT, you'll enhance creativity and efficiency across the development lifecycle while making a meaningful impact.The Platform UI team provides the foundation for all UI built at Ridgeline. Our mission is to empower product engineers to deliver high-quality experiences quickly and efficiently. We focus on developer productivity, experience, and maintainability by collaborating with product teams to build tailored solutions. In this role, you will also develop, monitor, and maintain front-end developer tooling, including lightweight backend services that support our UI.You must be work authorized in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.What will you do?Partner closely with product engineers to understand their needs, build highly leverageable solutions, and deliver features for our customersContribute to the thought leadership, technical design, and implementation of our underlying UI framework in an Agile team collaborating on design, strategy, and engineeringBuild, manage, and maintain our pipelines and bundlesThink creatively, own problems, seek solutions, and communicate clearly along the wayContribute to a collaborative environment rooted in learning, teaching, and transparencyDemonstrate a strong dedication to code quality, automation, and operational excellenceDesired Skills and Experience 5 years in a software engineering position or similar functionA degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or related disciplineExpertise in TypeScript, React, HTML, JavaScript, CSSDeep working knowledge of front-end build tooling in the React ecosystem (such as Webpack, Bun, Storybook, GitHub Actions, etc)Experience building services in Node.js, Bun, etcWillingness to learn about cutting-edge technologies while cultivating expertise in a business domain / problem space.An aptitude for problem solvingAbility to communicate effectivelySerious interest in having fun at workBonus : Experience with investment or asset management applicationsExperience building performant, enterprise level web experiences at scaleUnderstanding of building back-end infrastructure using AWS offerings such as Lambdas, S3, CDKTFDocker-based container architectureExperience with agile development methodologiesBackground in design, economics, or financeAbout RidgelineRidgeline is the industry cloud platform for investment management.
