Position Summary:
The Administrative Assistant plays a critical role in ensuring the day-to-day office operations are organized and functional. This position provides administrative, client, and facilities support to the Ridge Residential Treatment Center (RTC).
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Assistance
- Provide support to directors and managers with administrative tasks.
- Assist with printing, copying, and preparing materials for meetings or projects.
- Respond to records requests from former students, ensuring compliance with transcript retention requirements.
- Transcribe and distribute meeting minutes.
- Assist with basic Onboarding and hiring tasks.
- Field basic staff questions or direct them to appropriate resources.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Mail and Package Logistics
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages (USPS, UPS, FedEx).
- Deliver mail and packages to the Post Office or FedEx as required.
Office Organization and Documentation
- Manage office keys, including distribution and tracking.
- Update the Visitor Log and ensure confidentiality and visitor sign-in sheets are stocked.
- Oversee paperwork, scanning, and data entry.
- Follow up with IT on unresolved technology issues.
- Oversee stocking and maintenance of copiers and other office technology.
Work Environment:
- Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
- This role is primarily campus-based and requires occasional off-site errands.
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred.- 1-3 Year(s) experience in administrative support.
- Required computer skills and knowledge of relevant software.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Friendly, professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
