Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
Reports to the Program Director under the direction of the Clinical Director. Provides patient supervision and staff/unit support activities as assigned.
CATEGORIES OF DUTIES
1. Organize the clinical assistant team to perform all weekly tasks.
2. Monitor, organize and execute all monthly checks and maintain the monthly logs (fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, evacuation drills, fridge logs, etc.)
3. Support in the maintenance and upkeep of the facilities.
4. Supporting the program director in maintaining client intake files and closing out files after a discharge.
5. Assist in the training of new staff and supporting the positive morale of the team at all times.
6. Supervises and monitors patient s activities according to unit/program needs/schedules, (e.g., 12- step meetings, groups, field trips, visits, recreation, outside activities, work assignments, meals).
7. Completes all data entry into computer system on admissions and discharges as assigned.
8. Conducts regular facility inspections.
9. Conducts property searches of patients as required by program standards.
10. Performs and record UA testing of patients on intake and on a weekly basis as directed.
11. Provides clerical support to counseling, and management staff, e.g., filing, letter writing, answering phones, etc.
12. Provides transportation services utilizing company vehicles, including patient transportation, , agency errands, etc.
13. Attends in-service training and educational workshops.
14. Attends all required staff meetings.
15. Cooperates and communicates fully with other staff members regarding patient behavior, progress, activities, etc.
16. Conducts self in a professional manner in areas of dress, language, attitude and behavior.
17. Exhibits full knowledge and support of the philosophy and objectives of the Agency.
18. Fully understands and maintains policies regarding professional ethics, including appropriate boundaries and patient confidentiality.
19. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION/TRAINING
High School Diploma Bachelor's degree Preferred EXPERIENCE
Six (6) months experience working with adolescents (Prefer experience working in a behavioral healthcare setting)
A minimum of one (1) continuous year of recovery if recovering.
Education, Training, or work/volunteer experience with adolescents
LICENSES/CERTIFICATES
Valid Class II driver's license with clean driving records and current auto insurance
Current CPR/First Aid Certifications, Water Safety Certification
