Substance Abuse Counselor - Evening IOP (Monday-Friday)

Salary:

The Ridge Ohio is currently looking for a full-time substance abuse treatment counselor who is passionate about helping people maintain Recovery for Life.Started in 2011, The Ridge's primary program is a residential substance abuse facility in Batavia, Ohio. We are currently expanding our outpatient services in surrounding areas at our Joint Commission Accredited programs.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a Master's Degree
• CDCA or higher licensure
• Trauma experience preferred
  
  

Responsibilities Include but are not Limited to:

• Counsel and advise individuals or groups with chemical dependency disorders
• Develop and implement individual treatment plans
• Establish treatment goals and milestones with clients
• Prepare progress reports and letters for relevant parties
• Educate families and groups on substance abuse treatments and prevention programs
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare or counseling professionals
• Maintain compliance in medical recording keeping in EMR
• Complete assessments for new program admissions
• Complete outpatient assessments
  
  

Compensation:

Compensation Is Competitive And Based On Experience.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday; schedule of hours may be discussed.
