Duties
- Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities to stimulate learning.
- Provide nurturing care by attending to children's basic needs including feeding, dressing, and hygiene.
- Manage children's behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and behavior management strategies.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play.
- Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities to meet individual requirements.
- Foster a positive relationship with each child to encourage their emotional growth.
Skills
- Experience in childcare settings such as preschool, daycare, or as a nanny.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR for infants and children.
- Strong caregiving skills with the ability to educate children through play-based learning.
- Proficiency in behavior management techniques to handle various situations effectively.
