QUALIFICATIONS : # 1.#Current RN licensure to practice in California. # 2.#Degree in Nursing, Bachelor#s preferred, with a minimum of one year acute care experience and one#year Labor # Delivery experience, or two or more years of Labor # Delivery experience. # 3.#BLS certification required and maintained. # 4.#ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required and maintained thereafter. # 5.#NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) certification required within 3 months of hire and maintained thereafter. # 6.#PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required within 3 months of hire and maintained thereafter. # 7.Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in the English language. # 8.Must be able to put into practice Service Excellence skills with our patients, families, and co-workers. # 9.#Provides nursing care in a positive manner that is consistent with the policies, objectives, goals, mission#and vision of the hospital and nursing department. 10.#All nurses participating in the care of the Labor and Delivery will complete an annual assessment of EFM principles. #11.
