Ridgefield Academy is an independent coeducational day school serving grades PreK-8. We are seeking a girls lacrosse assistant coach for our Middle School sports program for grades 6-8. This position is for the spring season beginning on March 24, 2025 and ending on May 29, 2025.
Responsibilities Include
This is a stipend position based on experience. The pay range is $1500-$2000 which is issued in two installments throughout the season.

Responsibilities Include
- Help organize and run practices to help improve athlete’s fundamental skills, form and stamina
- Maintain rosters and team records
- Mentor players to develop sportsmanship and respect for the game
- Assist in coaching games and motivate student-athletes consistent with the school’s athletic philosophy
- Ride on bus to and from games
- Assure parents sign out child when leaving from a game
- Fill in for Head Coach when needed
- Be aware of safety conditions
- Adhere to the school’s mission and abide by the coaching handbook
- Communicate as needed with the Athletic Director
- Must have at least 2 years prior experience coaching lacrosse
- Must be punctual and proactive in coaching and leading a sport’s team
- Must provide three professional references and pass a background check
- Must have a High School diploma, Bachelor’s Degree a plus
