What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance director position at Ridgeland Nursing & Rehabilitation Center?
The Maintenance Director is responsible for repair of electrical; plumbing; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC);
carpentry; painting; and other building systems.
PAY BASED ON EXPERIENCE
Duties / Responsibilities :
Evaluates systems in facility to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.
Plans work priorities, obtain necessary supplies, and assess skills needed to complete tasks.
Ensures maintenance and repair work is completely safely, effectively, in a timely manner, and in accordance with DHEC regulations.
Tracks and logs, materials, and other resources used for inventory purposes.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills / Abilities :
Extensive knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to identify issues and to determine repairs that are needed.
Ability to plan maintenance schedules for building systems.
