What are the responsibilities and job description for the Culinary Director position at Ridgeline Management Company?
Ridgeline Management Company is dedicated to creating environments where moments of joy, independence, and wellness are the focus each and everyday for our residents and employees. The Dining Services Director is responsible for the proper service of meals to residents at the community by creating a meaningful dining experience for residents and guests, maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen service areas and record keeping functions. The Dining Services Director assists other food service employees with cleanliness and sanitation of other food service areas, they act as cook, order supplies and food, prepare menus, oversee all dietary staff including hiring and scheduling.
1. Complete scheduling and direct supervision of dietary employees.
2. Assists in preparation of food items
3. Takes orders and serves food to residents and visitors as needed.
4. Clears tables, cleans dining room floor, dining room counter areas, dishwashing tasks, other cleaning and sanitation duties as needed and as assigned.
5. Maintain adequate supplies at station for serving food, including paper goods, dishes, flatware, glassware, and condiments.
6. Displays mature behavior and attitude in speech and action; demonstrates consistently pleasant demeanor, tone of voice, supports the mission statement and approach to care used by the community.
7. Orders food and supplies following established procedures
8. Maintains highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining room.
9. Perform any additional job duties as assigned while completing all assigned duties, which may change from time to time according to resident needs, staffing levels, working circumstances, and home office directives.
Schedule would be Tuesday-Saturday contingent on Staff call outs and scheduling.
