About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Med Tech to join our team at The Ridge at Lansing. As a Med Tech, you will be responsible for administering medication to our residents and ensuring their safety and well-being. You will work closely with our nursing staff to provide exceptional care to our residents. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a strong attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current Med Tech certification
- Experience working in a long-term care or assisted living facility
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field
- Experience working with seniors
- Experience with electronic medication administration records (eMAR)
Responsibilities:
- Administer medication to residents according to physician orders
- Maintain accurate medication records
- Communicate with nursing staff regarding any changes in residents' conditions
- Assist with resident care as needed
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
