Ridgell Oil Company is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-oriented, and business-savvy Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of the company. This position will work directly with the owners to support the growth, financial goals, and customer satisfaction objectives of the business. As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating various office functions, managing staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and support office staff, including interviewing, hiring, coaching, training, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and financial regulations
- Deliver exceptional customer service and foster relationships that support customer retention and acquisition
- Assist with order taking, route planning, and scheduling to ensure continuous daily operations
- Serve as a backup for employees during absences
- Complete monthly and annual reports to support operational needs
- Oversee fuel inventory management and maintain accurate records
- Handle incoming/outgoing mail and packages, ensuring timely distribution
- Manage office supplies and ensure proper inventory levels
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff
- Process payroll and maintain accurate employee records
- Provide administrative support to various departments as required
- Ensure smooth office operations and foster an effective team environment
- Utilize QuickBooks for invoicing, expense tracking, and other financial tasks
- Create and manage employee work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing
- Monitor employee performance and ensure all tasks and responsibilities are met efficiently

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant business experience
- Previous experience in delivery/distribution, sales, and general management is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven leadership ability with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and customer service
- Ability to work long hours and overtime when necessary
