Our client, an academic healthcare center in Philadelphia, is seekign to hire a Manager Pharmacy Operations.
The person in this role is accountable for managing staff, operations, systems, and resources to ensure optimal results and high employee engagement. Major duties include :
- Continuous monitoring of pharmacy processes to promote a safe and efficient environment.
- Assures that the department is run according to organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provides leadership for the overall daily operation of the Pharmacy in providing safe and effective pharmacy services.
- Manages the operations and functions of IV admixture services assuring that all operational and regulatory requirements are met.
- Develops and updates policies and procedures to comply with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Monitors workflow on an ongoing basis and formulates strategies for continuous improvement
- Accountable for maintaining workplace safety.
