What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enteral Nutrition Technician position at Ridgemont Resources?
A leading provider in home infusion therapy is seeking to hire a full-time Enteral Technician to join their Pharmacy team. Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, the individual in this role will be responsible for labelling and dispensing enteral formula and supplies.
Duties include :
- Coordinate and schedule the dispensing of enteral product and supplies and assist the Dietitian in the management of enteral nutrition patients.
- Prepare labels and prescription dispensing worksheets and complete and maintain product lot numbers and expiration dates.
- Generate delivery / pick slips under the supervision of the Dietitian. Pick and pull supplies and home medical equipment.
- Obtain supply inventories and compliance information from patients / clients and communicate information obtained from patients / clients to the Dietitian as required.
- Participate in branch management, department and intra-departmental meetings and quality improvement activities as requested.
- Adhere to all Accreditation, OSHA, FDA, state, local and federal regulations and standards relevant to infusion pharmacy and home medical equipment.
