REQUIREMENTS
The PRN Maintenance Apprentice position requires a High School diploma or Equivalent. The position requires entry level mechanical aptitude, Level 1 Microsoft Office Skills, entry level experience that demonstrates knowledge of general maintenance work; including plumbing, painting and general labor. The position requires a valid driver’s license, safe driving history, and demonstrated ability to operate various types of motor vehicles.
JOB DUTIES
The Maintenance Apprentice will maintain the grounds, facility, vehicles, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with established procedures and as directed by the supervisor. The PRN Maintenance Apprentice will troubleshoot and make repairs as assigned; transport vehicles from one location to another including to the shop for repairs; and assist in maintaining the maintenance records and associated documents including electronic records including state vehicle documentation.
