Job Opportunity
We are seeking a talented and compassionate Child Mental Health Therapist to join our team as a School-Based Behavioral Health Liaison (SBBHL). This role involves providing direct therapy to students and coaching staff on engaging students with behavioral health needs in Scott County Schools.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement trauma-informed behavior responses to promote a healthy teaching environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and students to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Provide consultation services to teachers on how to engage students with behavioral health needs.
- Participate in the IEP process and assist parents and youth with developing trauma-informed support plans.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in social work, psychology, or counseling.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a social work or therapy/counseling capacity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
