As an Intake Clinician, you'll be an integral part of our treatment team, providing continuous care, supervision, and positive role modeling to patients across various age groups from adolescents to geriatrics. Working under the guidance of a Director of A&R, you'll contribute to creating a therapeutic environment that fosters patient support and well-being.

- Inquiry calls are documented and processed in accordance with A&R policies.
- Patients are assessed and stabilized prior to leaving hospital or admission to hospital arranged.
- On call doctor is notified and assisted with patient interview.
- Admission paperwork is completed in accordance with hospital policy.
- Intake (EMTALA) log is completed with all information documented.
- Follow up calls are made to those failing to show up for appointments.
- Pre-certification is obtained in accordance with insurance requirements.
- Guest relations are demonstrated by example and employees in need of guest relations training are counseled.
- Administration is notified of problems or significant events.
Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:
- Education: Registered Nurse or Master’s Degree in a human relations field required.
- Experience: Preferably two or more years experience in intake assessment activities within an acute psychiatric setting. At least two (2) years experience in a psychiatric hospital setting, including customer contact.
- Licensure: Licensed to practice in Georgia as a mental health professional recommended. LCSW or LPC required.
- Additional Requirements: Knowledge of the latest DSM and Mental Status Exam. A working knowledge of the Addiction and Recovery field. Successful completion of CPR Certification and CPI before assisting with a restraining procedure and within 30 days of employment. May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.

Compensation:
This is a full-time role and the expected compensation range for this role is $23.00 - $24.00 hourly. We’re eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be provided to experience and skill level. Join us as our Intake Clinician.
