JOIN OUR TEAM AS A UTILIZATION REVIEW COORDINATOR LEAD (UR)!
Your Work Matters How will you make a difference?
As a Utilization Review Coordinator Lead (UR Coordinator), you'll advocate for our patients, ensuring they receive the best care possible by liaising with external case managers and managed care organizations to certify and re-certify insurance benefits. You'll be able to help our treatment team understand insurance requirements for continued stay and discharge planning and maintain a thorough understanding of patient treatments through constant communication with the team. You will advocate for patient access to services during treatment team meetings, individual physician contact, and lead treatment team meetings and continued stay reviews as indicated. Your role is critical in guiding patients through their treatment journey and discharge planning, making a real difference every day!
- Review treatment plans and advocate for additional services.
- Promote effective use of resources for patients.
- Maintain contact with physicians and team members.
- Collaborate on continued stay and discharge planning.
- Ensure patients are placed in appropriate care levels.
- Document case management activities and track insurance reviews.
- Provide patient status updates and insurance requirements to staff.
- Manage the insurance appeals process and coordinate discharge plans.
Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in social work, mental health, nursing, or related degree.
- Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of related experience in a healthcare setting or managed care company, with expertise in patient assessment, treatment planning, utilization management, and/or case management preferred.

Compensation:
This is a full-time, non-exempt role; the expected compensation range is $18.00 to $25.00/hour. We’re eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be given to experience and skill level. Join us as our Utilization Review Coordinator (UR)!
