The Marketing Associate will join a growing team of marketing specialists within the sales team and will ideally embody a blend of creativity and strategic thinking. This role will be pivotal to producing strategic video content that engages our audiences and elevates our brand within the catering and events industry. Ideal candidates possess strong video production and social media skills, with a focus on creating video content for platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.
In addition to video production, the Marketing Associate will support the implementation of marketing campaigns and maintenance of content calendars for platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and LinkedIn. Candidates have demonstrated experience utilizing various content creation and scheduling tools such as Adobe software, Canva, Tailwind, and Plannable. Leveraging digital and traditional means, the Marketing Associate will work hands on furthering the brand awareness of Ridgewells Catering with an end goal of continued business growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Other responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Creative Design & Content Creation
- Execute omni-channel marketing campaigns by regularly publishing engaging content to Google, Website, and Social Media platforms.
- Attend events to create real-time, BTS, and future video content for social channels.
- Produce high quality videos utilizing professional video equipment and editing software, along with social channel-oriented video content.
- Assist with event photo editing using Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop as needed.
- Content Marketing Execution
- Execute omni-channel marketing campaigns by maintaining robust content calendar of website content, blog posts, email marketing campaigns, and social media posts.
- Stay informed on the latest marketing trends, tools, and applications.
- Uphold consistent and compelling brand voice across all marketing channels.
- Enhance brand credibility and trust with key audiences by maintaining a timely and consistent posting schedule.
- Monitor potential brand issues and respond effectively to maintain a positive brand image.
- Analytics & Performance Measurement
- Regularly report on post and campaign performance to maximize results and ROI.
- Ensure content is optimized for search engine results to increase brand awareness.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Regularly contribute and maintain multi-use image bank for all departments to use in marketing and sales.
- Drive the organization of a digital archive of all company images and assets.
- Work closely with different teams to develop engaging content that supports business objectives.
- Ensure marketing efforts are well-integrated with the company's overall strategy and brand messaging.
- Performs other duties associated with the position that are reasonably assigned to support the overall needs of the business
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing/related field, or 1-2 years of related work experience including internships.
- Experience and understanding of catering and events industry.
- Strong video production and social media skills, with a focus on creating video content for platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.
- Keen ability to identify social media content trends, adapt them according to brand voice and guidelines, and execute in a timely manner.
- Demonstrable experience in content creation, graphic design, editing and communication.
- Experience using social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
- Experience using content scheduling platforms such as Tailwind, Planoly, Later, etc.
- Knowledge and understanding of Adobe software and other content creation tools like Canva.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, OneDrive and file management platforms such as FileCamp or DropBox.
- Positive attitude, detail-oriented with strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
