Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Review Req Quick Entry slips throughout each shift, prioritize repairs/maintenance in order of necessity.
- Trouble shooting of building mechanical problems, identifying, correcting, reporting and communicating building operational and maintenance needs to other trades and units.
- Perform miscellaneous repairs, scheduled and preventative maintenance on equipment ensuring satisfactory operation.
- Performing regular monthly maintenance checks of all equipment and supplies within the facility.
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, various heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems.
- Follow established safety rules and policies and procedures of the maintenance department and requirements of the State of Wisconsin.
- Cooperation with other employees and department heads.
- Ordering and requisitioning supplies from Central Supply when needed.
- Communicate with residents to ascertain feelings or need for assistance or social and emotional support.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Administrator, DON or manager on duty.
- Occasional weekends and on - call
- MUST have valid WI drivers license and previous long term maintenance experience.
