Responsibilities
- Prepare and Administer Medications: Safely prepare and administer medications according to resident needs and protocols.
- Maintain Resident Records: Accurately document medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations.
- Medication Disposal: Ensure proper disposal of medications according to campus policies and procedures.
- Create a Caring Environment: Foster a compassionate atmosphere where residents feel valued, safe, and supported.
Requirements
- Certified License: Possess a current Certified License for QMA (Qualified Medication Aide) or CMA (Certified Medication Aide).
- Experience: Prior experience as a QMA or CMA in long-term care or home care settings is an asset.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Hold a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
