The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), under the direction of a Physical Therapist, is responsible for providing therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices, and ethical standards. Key responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, observing patient responses, documenting progress, reporting findings, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates must possess a degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program, maintain current, valid state PTA licensure or certification, and hold current valid CPR certification. Experience in rehabilitation settings is preferred, but not required.
