Ridgewood Medical Clinic is an Urgent Care/Family Practice that works closely with local Medical Assistant programs to provide hands-on training. If you are interested in perusing a career in the medical field, this is a great place to start. We offer on-the-job training, and our PM shift allows many of our employees to attend school while they work.
We are seeking a Medical Assistant who is fluent in Spanish.
POSITION SUMMARY: Looking for an energetic, dependable, and pleasant Medical Assistant to join our often fast-paced practice. Job duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Explaining treatment procedures to patients,
- Preparing patients for examination, Assisting the physician during exams/procedures,
- Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens,
- Performing basic laboratory tests,
- Instructing patients about medication and special diets,
- Preparing and administering medications as directed by a physician,
- Transmitting prescription refills as directed,
- Drawing blood,
- Taking electrocardiograms,
- Translating,
- and Using computer applications.
**We are currently looking to fill a PM/Sunday shift, M-F 2:30pm-9:00pm and Sunday 8:00am-4:00pm**
- Job Types: Full-time
- Pay: $14/$17 per hour
- Schedule:
M-F 2:30pm – 9:00pm
&
Sunday 8:00am – 4:00pm
- Paid time off included after 6 months. Personal protective equipment provided.
EXPERIENCE:
- No experience needed; in office training included.
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
