Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dining Services Aide to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring a pleasant dining experience for our residents by assisting with meal service, maintaining cleanliness in dining areas, and providing friendly, professional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and serving of meals and beverages to residents.
- Ensure dining areas are clean, organized, and set up for meal service.
- Help residents as needed during meal times, including passing trays and offering assistance with eating.
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Maintain a friendly and respectful demeanor while interacting with residents, families, and team members.
- Communicate resident feedback and any concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Dining Services Manager or other supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in food service or working in a healthcare setting is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for serving others.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
