Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Elementary School Music Teacher to join our team at Ridgewood School. This role is essential in shaping young minds and fostering a love for learning in our students. Located in Springfield, Ohio, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging educational experiences that align with our mission.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
• Assess student progress through standardized testing and other evaluation methods.
• Provide mentoring and support to students to enhance their academic growth.
• Foster a love for learning by incorporating creative teaching methods.
• Collaborate with parents and staff to support student development and early intervention strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field required.
• Valid teaching certification for elementary education preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills and experience working with young children.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and tutoring techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
