Job Title: Control Teller/Head Teller Supervisor
This is a grade level 4 position with an estimated starting salary range of $889-$1,110 per week.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent GED
- Two years of experience as a Control or Head Teller or Universal Banker with back-up Control Teller experience
Key Skills:
- Effective supervision and building rapport with supervisors and subordinates
- Familiarity with Fiserv DNA and Microsoft Office
- Ability to identify and resolve customer complaints and issues
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain productivity among subordinates through assistance and supervision
- Ensure satisfactory resolution of customer issues
- Manage job tasks and develop cross-functional skills of subordinates
- Monitor work production for accuracy and trends
- Approve monetary transactions exceeding subordinate limits
- Provide guidance on non-routine transactions
- Monitor cross-selling opportunities and maximize sales performance
- Disseminate information to subordinates
- Ensure adequate branch staffing and monitor schedules
- Review daily printouts to prevent financial loss and monitor suspicious activity
- Identify and ensure completion of Currency Transaction reports
- Monitor and analyze customer transactions for suspicious activities
- Assist in retrieving ATM deposits and adjusting account check holds
- Reconcile general ledger accounts
- Maintain accurate accounting of various items
- Correct accounting and computer differences
- Maintain dual control and proper security procedures
- Ensure proper cash supply for Automated Cash Dispensers and ATMs
- Review and settle in-clearing check items
- Assist Branch Manager and Assistant Manager in completing monthly reports
