What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Laundry Room Attendant position at Ridglea Country Club?
JOB SUMMARY: Cleans all soiled towels and distributes to each department accordingly.
Job Tasks
The Club’s Management reserves the right to conduct random drug testing for the use of illegal drug and alcohol during any working shift. Employees testing positive and determined to be in violation of Club’s policies may result in immediate termination. Re-employment may not be an option if an employee tests positive and is determined to be in violation of the Club’s policy.
Job Tasks
- Knowledge – Possesses technical skills needed to fulfill required job duties.
- Work Ethic – Establishes and maintains professional standard of conduct and appearance at all times. Exhibits professional attitude towards superiors, colleagues and work.
- Safety – use safe working skills at all times, especially when dealing with heavy objects and chemicals. Quickly notifies the proper staff in case of an incident.
- Receives soiled towels from golf, fitness, locker room and tennis department. (Pool during season)
- Separates and counts towels for each department.
- Loads and operates washers.
- Loads and operates dryers.
- Folds and stores towels by type and department
- Oversees the distribution of towels and makes sure each department signs in & out for order.
- Cleans linen room accordingly.
- Keeps towel inventory and reports shortages.
- Open communication with the Chief Engineer with the needs of the department.
- Continuously uses safe working skills at all times, especially when dealing with chemicals.
- Completes any other jobs that are requested by the Chief Engineer or Assistant General Manager as they pertain to the department.

- This job must be your primary job and if required you must work any hours requested by your supervisor, regardless of a commitment to any secondary employer.
- Must be dependable to cover assigned shifts on time.
- Must be able to communicate in and have a basic comprehension of the English language.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule and/or over time if needed.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
- Must work well with others as a team and help co-workers as needed.
- Must possess honesty and integrity.
- Must be courteous and tactful at all times towards member, superiors, and co-workers.

- Perform other duties as required.
- Must conduct herself in a professional manner when on shift.
- Must arrive in and maintain a professional appearance at work.
- Must have a dependable means of transportation to and from work.
- Wear uniform as provided by Ridglea Country Club.
- Hair – Must be clean, of natural shades and well maintained. The standard does not include extremes in dying, styling or coloring.
- Perfume – The use of antiperspirant and/or deodorant is recommended. The use of strong, heavy scents and fragrances is unacceptable.
- Fingernails – Kept clean and trimmed to the end of the finger.
