Ridgway Face & Aesthetic Center is seeking a full time Medical Assistant (MA)/Medial Receptionist who will assist our health care team in office as well as patient-related care. The MA will be involved in a variety of patient care procedures and medical charting. These procedures may include, but are not limited to, injections, EKGs, blood draws, measuring patient vital signs (weight, height, blood pressure, pulse, respirations, and temperature), patient flow, and wound care. The MA will be involved in helping the front office maintain a proper flow and continuity with the surgical team.

Qualifications
- Knowledge of electronic medical records
- Strong aptitude for detail, and ability to work independently, required.
- Strong organizational, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Skill in using a PC required
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain working relationships with others
Responsibilities
- Answering phones, scheduling patient appointments, responding to patient online inquiries, and collecting payment
- Restocking treatment rooms
- Room patients and gather information to brief doctor
- Suture Removals
- Washing and processing instruments
- Administer Covid-19 tests in accordance with current regulations
- Opening and closing duties
- Assist Nurses when necessary
- Cross training (front desk and clinic)
- Responsible for scheduling patients for all appointments within the medical center. This involves looking over any appointments scheduled by other members of the office team and checking for any potential timing conflicts.
- Follows all opening and closing procedures. (See attached)
- Checks voice mail. Answer phones adhering to the guidelines in place.
- Responsible for daily food order and ordering of supplies from Amazon.
- Greets patients and visitors in a timely manner and assist clinical staff in rooming patient if they are unavailable.
- Keeps reception area and waiting room neat and tidy, including cleaning doors of fingerprints, keeping refreshment area cleaned and stocked and magazine current and neat.
- Checks in patients for appointments and those visiting.
- Assist the Practice Administrator.
- Ensures the patient completes all paperwork properly.
- Constructs the medical record with the required forms.
- Offer coverage in delivering quotes/relaying information for Patient Care Coordinator in the event they are out of office.
