What are the responsibilities and job description for the Factory Worker position at Riedell Shoes, Inc?
At Riedell Skates, we take pride in being a family-owned and operated business since 1945. We are looking for candidates who are interested in providing our customers with some of the best skating products in the world.
We are currently looking to add to our Factory Team.
Successful candidates will have a good attendance record, a positive attitude and the willingness to learn and take direction. Past experience in manufacturing and shoe building is a plus.
The Minimum Requirements of these jobs are:
· The ability to perform various production related tasks such as assembly, machine operation, and material handling.
· Must be able to correctly read and interpret work orders.
· Must be able to recognize and take action to address defective materials and machine malfunctions.
· Effective verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to work effectively and professionally with both internal and external customers.
· Attention to detail.
· Ability to regularly conduct stand-up work.
· Excellent attendance.
· Ability to work overtime or adjust work schedule as needed.
· 2 to 3 years of experience in industrial sewing or shoe construction.
· Effective use of hand tools and good manual dexterity
Pay:
Minimum Starting Pay: $19.65. Starting pay may vary based on skills and related experience.
Hours:All Production positions work a day shift, Monday -Friday schedule.
