Inside Sales Representative Responsibilities:
- Receive all incoming sales calls if the Outside Salesperson wasn’t asked for by name including all used truck calls and provide quotes if possible.
- Pass the call to the appropriate Outside Salesperson if the project is complex or has greater opportunity than simple quote.
- Greet all walk-in sales customers and complete the sale of transactional items such as hand pallet jacks, hand trucks, strapping, stretch wrap, etc.
- Contact, identify needs and follow up on leads including website.
- Provide web online chat support and process online catalog orders and questions.
- Support Outside Sales by performing product research. Assist on site surveys and provide quotes for less complex products; pallet rack, stock items, catalog items, stock forklifts, used forklifts, etc.
- Take all short-term rental calls for assigned branches. Coordinate transportation and process short-term rental invoicing.
- Make follow up calls upon completion of projects.
- Prospecting of new customers, gathering contact information and passing on to Outside Salespeople as required.
- Utilize CRM system to enter customers, contacts, opportunities and quotes. Assist Outside Salespeople on CRM maintenance and proactively follow up on projects/ quotes for both Outside Salespeople and themselves using CRM.
- Enter used equipment and rental information, contracts and invoices in ERP to feed CRM/website.
- Maintain support of used equipment on the website by posting and adding picture as assets become available for sale or as updates are needed.
- Complete rental check ins of equipment prior to equipment leaving or returning rental contracts. This will require reporting to service and/or rental asset manager when repair is required.
- Fulfill the role of liaison with all other departments.
- All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:Inside Sales Representative Requirements:
- A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalency. College, vocational, trade, apprenticeship or other higher education is strongly preferred.
- Experience in business or sales.
- Strong customer service skills and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel.
