RieLes Group is seeking administrative support for Education and Incentives Counseling Services for a Contract role supporting the Georgia National Guard (GAARNG). Clay National Guard Center, Marietta, GA and frequent travel to Ft. Stewart, GA for attending training, conducting training, delivering briefings, observing field operations, and attending conferences are required and reimbursable with COR approval.

Job Title: Education and Incentives Counseling Services Support
Key Responsibilities:
- Education Counseling:
- G.I. Bill Transferability: Counsel service members on transferring G.I. Bill benefits to dependents, ensuring compliance with all guidelines.
- Degree Planning: Assist service members in creating personalized degree plans that optimize their use of available education benefits.
- Eligibility Verification: Verify service member eligibility for Federal education benefits and produce Notices of Basic Eligibility (NOBEs).
- GIMS Management: Manage all G.I. Bill-related tasks within the Guard Incentive Management System (GIMS).
- Education Briefings: Develop, coordinate, and deliver engaging education benefit briefings to various audiences.
- Weekly Reporting: Produce weekly statistics reports detailing all completed actions.
- IPPS-A Coding: Evaluate, execute, and quality control all IPPS-A coding processes related to education level.
- Resource Management: Maintain an inventory of educational resources and order necessary materials.
- School Coordination: Coordinate with educational institutions regarding opportunities, scholarships, and benefits.
- School Accreditation: Verify the authenticity and accreditation status of schools.
- JST Assistance: Assist service members in acquiring their Joint Service Transcript (JST).
- Test Administration: Serve as Test Control Officer and proctor for exams like the AFCT, ASVAB, and CLEP.
- Educational Resource Alignment: Coordinate with ARNG staff and external education decision-makers to align educational resources with ARNG objectives.
- Promotional Materials: Order and distribute promotional materials for the ARNG Education Services Office.
- Policy Updates: Monitor and implement changes to education programs and benefits.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all educational programs comply with federal regulations.
- DVA Coordination: Coordinate with the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) to ensure eligible service members receive proper benefits.
- Benefits Utilization Tracking: Track and report on the utilization of education benefits by service members.
- Briefing Support: Provide logistical and administrative support for educational briefings.
- Outreach: Conduct outreach to high schools and universities to promote ARNG educational opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field
- Extensive knowledge of military education benefits (G.I. Bill, Tuition Assistance, etc.)
- Experience with student advising or counseling
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant database systems
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
