Internal Medicine (IM) and Family Practice (FP) physicians

RieLes Group, we are seeking Board-Certified (BC) or Board-Eligible (BE) Internal Medicine (IM) and Family Practice (FP) physicians to provide on-site Primary Care Physician Services for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The Fairbanks VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic is located at Fort Wainwright, Alaska, inside Bassett Army Community Hospital. It provides healthcare services to veterans in the area, including primary care and specialty services. The clinic operates under the Alaska VA Healthcare System, which aims to improve access to care for veterans, particularly in rural and remote areas.

The Bassett Army Community Hospital, also at Fort Wainwright, is part of a VA / Department of Defense (DoD) sharing agreement, which allows veterans and military beneficiaries to access additional medical services. The Alaska VA Healthcare System collaborates with multiple healthcare providers, including military and tribal health organizations, to expand care options for veterans across the state

Onsite Primary Care Physician Service

This refers to a physician-based primary care service available at a specific location (such as a VA medical facility, nursing home, or workplace). An onsite primary care physician provides routine check-ups, chronic disease management, urgent care, and preventive services directly at the facility, eliminating the need for patients to visit external clinics.

• Deliver high-quality primary care to VA beneficiaries
• Diagnose, manage, and treat acute and chronic conditions
• Follow American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) guidelines
