RieLes Group is seeking an Interventional Radiologist for a role supporting NIH Clinical Center Bethesda, MD. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is the nation's federally funded biomedical research institution. It is comprised of twenty-seven Institutes, Centers, and Divisions. The NIH Clinical Center (NIH/CC) supports the intramural clinical programs of the Institutes and is located on the NIH campus in Bethesda Maryland. A fully functioning clinical facility houses 242 inpatient beds, 12 outpatient clinics, and 3 day hospitals. The Clinical Center supports patient care with a clinical Radiology Department (RAD&IS) to address a broad variety of radiologic medical issues that may arise during a course of treatment. This support is offered continuously 365 days a year.

Position Summary:
The NIH Clinical Center is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Interventional Radiologist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide a range of interventional radiology services to patients within the Clinical Center, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, and participate in ongoing research initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures, including but not limited to:
- Vascular access procedures (e.g., PICC line placement, central venous catheters)
- Biopsies (liver, kidney, lung, etc.)
- Abscess drainage
- Embolization for abdominal or thoracic bleeding
- IVC filter placement
- Thrombolysis
- Participate in on-call rotations, providing 24/7 coverage as needed
- Collaborate with referring physicians to develop and implement optimal treatment plans
- Interpret imaging studies and provide timely reports
- Participate in teaching and mentoring activities
- Contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Board certification by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) in Diagnostic Radiology with a CAQ or MOC in Vascular and Interventional Radiology
- Minimum two years of post-residency experience in interventional radiology
- Excellent clinical, technical, and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
